CFXC Beats the Heat at Hoover

The Girls team finished 9th of 17 overall and 4th of 6 in Division II, only falling to SVSM, Dover and CVCA while beating regional rivals Tusky Valley and Akron Manchester. The Top 7 was spread by 2:04 and the Top 5 was spread by 1:51. The Girls Top 5 ran an average of 21:45 and Top 7 ran an average of 22:05.

The Boys team finished 11th of 19 overall and 3rd of 7 in Division II, beating regional rivals Dover, Tusky Valley, Northwest and Akron Manchester. The Boys Top 7 was spread by 1:48 and the Top 5 was spread by only 1:00. The Boys Top 5 ran an average of 18:49 and Top 7 ran an average of 19:04.

The temperature was hot and the humidity was high making a fast course not so fast. Even so, we saw 10 Boys and 13 girls improve on their times from Berkshire while 11 runners established new PR's.
