Girls take 3rd at Regionals, Advance to State! Joe Bistritz advances for Boys

CFXC Girls team finished 3rd in the NE Ohio Regional Meet clinching a berth to the State Meet. The Girls will go to Columbus for the 3rd time in the past 4 years, making this year's senior class the most accomplished of all time in program history. Joe Bistritz finished 2nd and clinches his 3rd consecutive individual State Meet berth. The CFXC Boys finish the season with a 90% winning record.

The Girls team finished 3rd to Akron SVSM and Woodridge, definitively beating CVCA for the 3rd spot. The Girls Top 5 ran an average of 20:24 and Top 7 ran an average of 20:45. The Top 5 was spread by 1:35 and the Top 7 was spread by 2:18. Annie Zimmer (3rd) and Natane Deruytter (13th) qualified for the State Meet as individuals as well. The Girls are now 54-0 in Division 2 competition.

The Boys team finished 5th by the narrowest of margins, 1 point, to Woodridge. The Boys Top 5 ran an average of 17:33 and Top 7 ran an average of 17:42. The Boys Top 5 was spread by 1:35 and the Top 7 was spread by 1:53. The Boys finish the season 69-7 in Division 2 competition.
