Girls take 4th at State in the Tigers All Time Fastest Team Race!

The Girls team finished 4th in the State Division II race

The CFXC Girls ran in their 12th State Meet, including 5 in the past 6 years, this Saturday in Columbus. The Girls ran a CFXC best ever State Course team average of 19:32!

Annie Zimmer lead the team finishing as D2 Runner Up in a new School Record time of 18:02.10. Catherine Coffey finished 2nd for the Tigers in 19:35, a full 1:02 faster than her 2015 State Course performance. Hailey Lowe ran 19:55, improving on her State Course best by 0:34. Hannah Clark and Hannah Zaluski debuted on the State Course, running 20:02 and 20:04 respectively. Emily Owen capped her CFXC career in a time of 20:51. Kate Flynt claimed the Tigers 7th spot, finishing in 22:17 in her first run at States.

The Girls Top 5 ran an average of 19:32 and Top 7 ran an average of 20:06. The Girls Top 5 was spread by 2:02 and the Top 7 was spread by 2:15. All eligible Girls earned Academic All-Ohio honors.

The Girls were also District Champions and Regional Runners Up, finishing with a 68-4 record in D2.
